Cleveland Clinic 2016 Multispecialty Pathology Symposium
January 29 – 31, 2016
Las Vegas Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada
This symposium will focus on practical discussions of commonly encountered dilemmas in surgical pathology, dermatopathology, and cytology. The goal is to provide evidence-based guidance on the diagnosis and management of challenging cases in esophageal disease, inflammatory bowel disease, colorectal polyps, prostate, kidney, and bladder lesions, melanocytic and inflammatory skin lesions, cutaneous soft tissue and vascular tumors, endometrial adenocarcinoma, ovarian serous carcinoma, and breast lesions. This symposium will help practicing pathologists, fellows, and residents maintain, develop, and increase their knowledge, competence, and professional performance with the intent to improve patient care and reduce disease impact.
Who Should Attend?
Pathologists, Pathology Residents, and Fellows
By Attending, You Will Be Able To:
- Recognize Barrett’s-related dysplasia and become familiar with unusual patterns of ulcerative colitis.

- Develop a systematic approach to the diagnosis of melanocytic lesions, vascular neoplasms, and inflammatory diseases of the skin.
- Apply current diagnostic criteria to columnar cell and papillary lesions of the breast and recognize key features of radial scars.
- Describe optimal use of sampling at EBUS/ENB and immunohistochemical stains for lung tumor diagnosis.
- Discuss new developments in the pathogenesis of ovarian serous carcinomas and recognize morphologic variants of endometrial adenocarcinoma.
