Special Info

If Bordetella pertussis IgM antibody is 1.2 IV or greater, then Bordetella pertussis IgM Immunoblot testing will be added at an additional cost. Contaminated, heat-inactivated, or severely lipemic specimens are unacceptable. If possible, specimens from New York clients will be sent out to a New York DOH approved laboratory, and an approved Non-Permitted Laboratory (NPL) form must be submitted with the specimen.
