Indicate specimen source. Do not freeze. Collect samples during first 3 days of illness. Samples in EIA transport media, Gen-Probe, LCX STD or bacterial transport media are unacceptable. Also unacceptable are dry swabs, wood swabs, or calcium alginate swabs.
