REFLEX CRITERIA: Antibodies: PL-7, PL12, EJ, OJ, SRP, Jo-1, ANA, Ha, Ks, Zo Hemolyzed, hyperlipemic, or icteric specimens will be rejected. Heat-treated or contaminated specimens are unacceptable. This test is New York DOH approved.

This test may be useful for the evaluation of patients with progressive proximal muscle weakness and antisynthetase syndrome.
