Pathology Consultative Services

Perinatal Pathology

The Perinatal Pathology Service works closely with the Gynecologic Pathology Service at Cleveland Clinic to provide placental, fetal, and neonatal autopsy pathology services.

Placental expertise spans throughout gestation from the early spontaneous abortion tissues to the post-term placenta.

Subspecialty review by a perinatal pathologist can assist in answering important questions for the grieving family.
