Clinical Info

Regular screening (twice-weekly) of serum samples of high-risk patients is recommended to increase the sensitivity and early positivity of the test. This test is intended to be used as an aid in the diagnosis of Invasive Aspergillosis. Positive results obtained with this test should be considered in conjunction with other diagnostic procedures such as microbiological culture, histological examination of biopsy samples and radiographic evidence.
