Interphase FISH analysis utilizing an enumeration probe for the 1p36 region, as well as a probe specific to 1q25, useful in the diagnosis of astrocytomas, oligodendrogliomas, ependymomas, or mixed gliomas. If no cells are available for analysis, no analysis charges will be incurred.
