Hepatitis B Surface Antigen Confirmation will be performed and billed on all initially reactive Hepatitis B Surface Antigen tests.**Not intended for use in screening blood, plasma, or tissue donors.**Performance has not been established for the use of cadaveric specimens or the use of body fluids other than human serum.**
Clinical Info
The test is used to screen for Hepatitis B Virus surface antigen. All positive/reactive results must be confirmed by HBsAg confirmatory test which is automatically added.
Clinical Limitation
Criteria for rejection: Heat inactivated, pooled, grossly hemolyzed, obvious microbial contamination.
