Oral hypoglycemic agent. Reporting limit: 0.10 mcg/mL. Therapeutic range: Approximately 1 - 2 mcg/mL. Metformin associated lactic acidosis generally has been associated with Metformin plasma concentrations exceeding 5 mcg/mL.
