A total of 783 Cyclospora modified acid-fast tests (CRYSPO) have been performed to date, with an overall positivity rate of 33%. The combination of rising demand and high positivity is consistent with ongoing Cyclospora outbreak activity and emphasizes the need for continued clinical awareness.

Data are derived from specimens submitted for the CRYSPO (Cyclospora Modified Acid-Fast Stain) test and are updated daily as results are completed and verified by Cleveland Clinic Microbiology Laboratories.
