Cleveland Clinic Laboratories is monitoring increased Cyclospora activity associated with an ongoing outbreak. This dashboard provides daily updates on CRYSPO testing volume, positive detections, and positivity rates to support clinicians, healthcare organizations, and public health partners .

Comments from the Medical Director:
A total of 5,068 Cyclospora modified acid-fast tests (CRYSPO) have been performed to date, with Cyclospora detected in 1,644 specimens (32% positivity). While Cyclospora continues to be identified, positivity and daily case counts have steadily declined from peak activity, suggesting decreasing transmission. As incidence declines, targeted testing of patients with compatible symptoms and epidemiologic risk factors remains the highest-yield approach.
