The Rumack-Matthew nomogram can be used to estimate the probability of hepatotoxicity via the relationship of plasma acetaminophen concentration to the post-ingestion interval (Rumack and Matthew. Pediatrics. 1975; 55:871-876 and Rumack et al. Arch Intern Med. 1981; 141: 380-385).
