Clinical Info

Antecedent Group A streptococcal infection in patients with acute rheumatic fever or acute glomerulonephritis. High levels may be found in individuals with prior or current infection with Group A Streptococcus. The DNAse B test is more reliable in the detection of anti-streptococcal antibodies following Group A Streptococcal Pyoderma.
