Samples performed between 48 and 72 hours of draw time will be performed and reported along with a lymphocyte viability. Samples that are less than 75% viable will be rejected and a redraw will be requested. Samples received in testing lab beyond 72 hours cannot be performed. Refrigerated samples may give abberant results and will be rejected.
Clinical Info
This is a single platform, 6-color Flow Cytometry assay used to enumerate CD4+ T cells in peripheral blood. These lymphocyte subset percentages and counts are used in the monitoring of Immunodeficiency, HIV infection, and other immunologic disorders.
