Clinical Info

The presence of endomysial antibodies IgG may be useful in identifying IgA-deficient patients at risk for celiac disease. To establish the diagnosis of celiac disease, a positive result must be confirmed through a biopsy of the small intestine. May aid in monitoring adherence to a gluten-free diet in patients with confirmed celiac disease.
