Clinical Info
Interphase FISH analysis utilizing an enumeration probe for the MDM2 gene at 12q15, as well as a probe for the centromere of chromosome 12. Identifying MDM2 gene amplification is useful in supporting a diagnosis of well-differentiated liposarcoma/atyplical lipomatous tumors. If no cells are available for analysis, no analysis charges will be incurred.
