Therapeutic Range pre-dose (trough) draw at steady-state concentration: 1.0-10.0 ng/mL
       Toxic: Greater than 15 ng/mL

Special Info

Measure at least 2 weeks after initiating treatment. Specimen should be collected prior to next dose - at steady state concentration. Hemolyzed specimens will be rejected. This test is New York DOH approved.

Clinical Info

The therapeutic range is based on serum pre-dose (trough) draw at steady-state concentration. Adverse effects may include extrapyramidal symptoms, seizures and neuroleptic malignant syndrome.
