This test is intended for monitoring the levels of Hemogobin S and Hemoglobin F in patients with a previously confirmed diagnosis of sickle cell anemia. For initial workup of patients with a suspected hemoglobinopathy, please order "Hemoglobin Evaluation Cascade."
