Clinical Info

Islet cell antibodies are associated with type 1 diabetes, an autoimmune disorder. These antibodies may be present years before the onset of clinical symptoms. To calculate JDF Units: multiply the titer x 5 (1:8 8x5 = 40 JDF Units).
