Clinical Info
Legionella urinary antigen test is used as an aid in diagnosis of infection with Legionella pneumophila serogroup 1. It may be detected from a few days to several months after onset of signs and symptoms despite antibiotic therapy or disease resolution. A negative result cannot exclude Legionellosis. Clinical correlation is required.
