Clinical Info

This test measures testosterone using liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS). It may be used when low testosterone concentrations are expected, including but not limited to children and cisgender women, and for monitoring patients on testosterone-suppressing therapy.

Clinical Limitation

Tanner Stage reference intervals are not yet established.Â
